Schleicher Funeral Homes has maintained continuous service in Southeastern Minnesota for over 130 years since 1892, making it a longstanding community institution with deep regional roots.

Cory Michaelson worked alongside his father at the funeral home during his school years and later obtained an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, bringing both family tradition and advanced business education to the operation.

The original Bodelson Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1960 and was purchased by John Mahn in 1986, expanding into a new facility in Zumbrota in 1998 as part of the Mahn Family's multi-location network across Goodhue County.
