Ulysses Kellam

Funeral services for Mr. Ulysses C. "Spank" Kellam, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at 2 PM at the Christ Deliverance Temple, 403 East Garner Street, Dublin. Reverend Kenneth Kates, Sr., will officiate.

Mr. Kellam, who was called home on Thursday, January 9, 2015, was born on January 16, 1939, in Dublin, to the late M. C. Kellam and Nellie Mae Atkins. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mattie Mae Brown, Gloria Jean Hunt, Retha Mae Atkins, Ruby Mae Kellam, and by one brother, Johnnie Lee Williams.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Patricia Kellam, Belveann Kellam, M. C. Kellam, Lataisha Kellam, Michael Kellam, Gertrude O'Neal, and Vera Lattimore, all of Dublin, three sisters, Donnie Smith, Jerrie Dean Floyd of Dublin, Shawanda (Jamie) Pittman of Dexter, four brothers, L. C. (Shirley) Rozier, Larry (Maritea) O'Neal of Dublin, J. C. (Charlene) Kellam, of Salisbury, North Carolina, Theotis (Gail) Hicks of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, two grandchildren, Alexander Kellam, and Corey Kellam of Dublin, a special nephew, Lewis Kellam, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 307 Roberts Street, Dublin.
