Funeral services for Mr. Theotis Carroll of Dublin will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at 2 PM at the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, 3265 GA Hwy 19 South, Dublin. Reverend Roger Edwards will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount McRae Church Cemetery,

Mr. Carroll joined Mount McRae (Hatoff) Church at an early age, and when the churches transitioned to Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, Mr. Carroll continued to serve as a faithful and dedicated christian.

Mr. Carroll worked many years for the Forstmann Company in East Dublin. At the time of his passing, he was employed at the Laurens County Recycling Center. He was known in the community to be helpful and kind and always aiding those in need.

He leaves to cherish his memories a faithful special partner, Betty Taylor, two daughters, Vivian (Clifford) Hunter, of Dublin, Theresa Carroll Bradham of Greeleyville, SC, one sister, Majorie Carroll Jones of Dublin, one brother, Paul Carroll, three nieces, Gail (Leonardo) of Oceanside, CA, Carolyn (Winston) O'Neal, and Rena (Jerry) of Dublin, two nephews, Ricky Jones, and Jessie Jones. Mr. Carroll also leaves six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will be receiving at the home of his niece Carolyn (Winston) O'Neal, 1610 Lance Drive, Dublin.
