Funeral services for Mr. Seaborn Anderson, of Allentown, will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at 1 PM at Higgsville Baptist Church, 18 Gallimore Road in Jeffersonville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Leroy Allen will officiate.

Mr. Anderson, who passed on August 24, 2014, was born on June 8, 1920, in Twiggs County to the late Tom Anderson and Liza Anderson. Mr. Anderson worked in the industrial field and was last employed with Gilbert Industries. He joined Higgsville Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful member until his health declined.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Anderson; his daughter, Mary Liza Blackmon; his sisters, Ethel Walker, Versie Smith, Eloise Johnson and Robbie Mae Ephriam; and his brothers, Walter Anderson and Joe Alonzo.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his grandchildren, Shyron Daniels, Danny Coleman; devoted nephews, Joe Alonzo Anderson, Jr., McAuther Anderson, J.W. Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 29 Stevens Road in Allentown.
