Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Williams of Dublin will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 1:00 at the Mount Lisbon Presbyterian Church in Bishopville, South Carolina. Reverend Dr. Frank Colclough will preside and Reverend Clarence Hilton will be the eulogist. Interment will follow in Broad Branch Cemetery.

Mr. Williams joined Mount Lisbon Presbyterian Church (USA) at a very young age. He also attended the public schools of Lee County. He was a very knowledgeable farmer and a machinery expert and operator who worked in Lee County as well as surrounding Counties. He also worked at Georgia Pacific Manufacturing Co., Sumter, SC for a number of years.

Mr. Williams was the eldest son of the late Carrie Williams Scarborough. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Lee Williams.

He is survived by a brother, James Williams of Bishopville, SC and his sister, Marie S. (Emory) Bostic of Dublin, GA; two nieces: Cari and Chare Bostic of Dublin, GA; three nephews: Gerard (Tammy) Williams of Lugoff, SC; Kendrick Williams of Columbia and Tyvin Williams of Bishopville, SC. He also has the following extended siblings: Mary Williams Toney Tomlin of Wilmington, NC, Sadie Bell Williams Josey of Sumter, SC, Rose Moore of Mayesville, SC, Willie (Debra) Williams of Camden, NJ, Willie James (Penny) Toney of Dumfries, VA, Eddie Lee Carter, Jr. of Camden, NJ and Ola Mae Toney (Cleon) Fredlaw of Wilmington, NC.

Viewing for Mr. Williams will be at the Dudley Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 after noon.
