Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Earl Slaughter, of Montrose, will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church, 5021 Georgia Hwy 112 in Allentown. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Elder Devester Coley will officiate.

Mr. Slaughter, who passed on April 4, 2014, was born on September 18, 1963, in Laurens County to Emanual and Nancy L. Slaughter. He was educated in the Millville-Laurens County Public School System. Mr. Slaughter was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy L. Slaughter; two brothers, Emanuel Slaughter, Jr. and Edward Slaughter; three sisters, Eddie Mae Beard, Lizzie Mae Young, and Earnestine Slaughter; and one nephew, Darick Slaughter.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Emanuel Slaughter, Sr., of Montrose; one daughter, Selena Slaughter of Montrose; two step sons, Jonathan Brazil of Dublin, and Gabriel Brazil of Montrose; wife, Robbie Slaughter of Montrose; a very devoted friend, Lillie Davis of Dublin; four sisters, Rosie M. Sanders and Arnetta White (Willie) of Montrose, Shirley Slaughter of Dublin. Brenda Burrell of Akron, Ohio; three brothers, Willie L. Slaughter of Montrose, Tommy L. (Blundalle) Slaughter of Dublin, Kevin Allen of Akron, Ohio; one uncle, one aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at 1722 Spur One in Montrose.
