Funeral services for Mr. Richard "Punk" Walker, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 2 PM at the Royal Spring Baptists Church, 1172 Georgia Highway 199 South in East Dublin. Pastor A. Dewayne Whitehead will officiate. Interment will follow in the Royal Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Walker, who passed on April 4, 2017, was born on November 14, 1957 in Laurens County to the late Eloise and George Walker, Sr. He was preceded in death by four brothers, George Walker, Jr., Earnest Gene Walker, Willie Lee Walker, Sr., Forest Mitchell.

Mr. Walker leaves to cherish his memories six daughters, Lawanda Johnson, Florida, Selina Coleman, Alabama, Cralisha Bell, Atlanta, Shaquita Brown, Florida, Lashana Jackson, Atlanta, Martina Johnson, Dublin; one son, Lekeith Johnson, Dublin; two sisters, Essie (Shine) Coney, Jackie Wright, Dublin; three brothers, Jessie Lee (Veola) Walker, Bobby Lee (Jacquelyn) Walker, Jeffery (Juanita) Walker; sisters-in-law, Winnie Walker, Shirley Walker; one aunt, Fleta M. George, Dublin; one uncle, Elder Tommy Ricks and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 322 Sawmill Road in East Dublin.
