Funeral services for Mr. Richard "Rick" Hodges, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 2 PM at the Brown Chapel Baptist Church, 1600 Lovett Road in East Dublin. Reverend Eric Carswell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lovett Mission Cemetery.

Mr. Richard Hodges, who passed on May 10, 2014, was born on July 20, 1960, to the late Thomas Hodges, Jr., and Minnie Jones Hodges. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Denise Hodges, Vivian Green Bodder; three brothers, Eddie Hodges, Leon Hodges and Homer Lee Hodges.

He joined the Brown Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. He attended East Laurens High School and worked with Dublin Construction and on various construction projects.

Mr. Hodges is survived by a loving and devoted mother, Minnie Jones Hodges; a devoted brother, Willie (Kathy) Hodges, Dublin; one sister, Betsy Angel Cethus, Atlanta; two daughters, Felicia Hall and Delois Hodges; two sons, Jerwaski Hodges and Richard Hodges, Jr.; uncle and aunts, Aaron (Janet) Jones of Utica, New York, Willie Jewel Mosley, Mary Grace Coneway, Mazell Jones, Dublin, Christine Hodges, Esther Hodges, Miami, Florida, Joyce Hodges, Goulds, Florida; a devoted friend, Felicia Kine. Mr. Hodges was also blessed with nine devoted grandchildren that loved him dearly along with other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1058 Willie Wood Road in East Dublin.
