Funeral Services for Mrs. Odessa Hurst, 101, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke Baptist Church at 620 East Main Street in Dexter, Georgia. Reverend Jamie Pittman will officiate. Interment will follow at the St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hurst, who passed away on April 21, was born on February 02, 1911 in East Dublin, Georgia to the late Rubin and Catherine Hurst. She lived in New York prior to moving back to Dublin, Georgia, during the 1980s. Mrs. Hurst was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Wylie Tinsley, Jr., Roy Tinsley and Joyce Tinsley. Mrs. Hurst leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Mrs. Christine (Wylie) Tinsley, five granddaughters Carolyn, Linda, Sharon, Annette, and Jeanette, a hose of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
