Naron Grimes

Funeral services for Mr. Naron Grimes, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 1 PM, at the New Bible Believers Baptist Church, 204 Hillcrest Drive in Dublin. Reverend Charlie Robinson will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Reedy Springs Church Cemetery.

Mr. Grimes was born in Dublin on December 28, 1967, to the late Willie Lee McCloud and the late Mary Lizzie Grimes. He was also preceded in death by his son, Shamar DeAngelo Grimes, and by three brothers, Aaron McCloud, Willie Lee Grimes, Jr., and Ernest McCloud.

He attended West Laurens High School and later joined the Job Corps. He was a master at roofing and was employed at Energy Smart Insulation until his health failed. Mr. Grimes was a very happy go lucky person with a captivating personality. He passed away on December 17, 2018.

He is survived by his loving children, Amelia Grimes, Lavonte Grimes, Janiya Grimes and Serenity Grimes of Dublin, brothers, William (Loring) McCloud, Ralph (Betty) McCloud, Homer (Lorene) McCloud, all of Detroit, Michigan, Calvin (Anganel) McCloud, Dublin, Curtis (Diane) Grimes, East Dublin, Willie Earl Grimes, Chester, Edward Carr, Eastman, eight sisters, Evelyn Showers, Dublin, Justine Wright, East Dublin, Elizabeth (Dwight) Pullen, Dublin, Haloise (Tommy) Walker, Detroit, Michigan, Bessie (Howard) Gordon, New Jersey, Rosa (Ted) Smith, Cadwell, Annie (Marion) Thomas, Warner Robins, Linda (Clifford) Jordan, Chester, Margaret (Ron) Smith, Jacksonville, Florida and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 221 Old Rebie Road in Chester.
