Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Mae Stanley, 87, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 1 PM at the Eason Hill Baptist Church, 2022 Eason Hill Church Road, Montrose. Reverend Brian Ashley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eason Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Stanley was born on September 19, 1927, to Minnie Lee Anderson and James Stuckey. She departed this life on Monday, November 3, 2014.

At an early age, she joined Eason Hill Baptist Church and served faithfully until her health failed. She joined in holy matrimony with the late Charlie Lee Stanley and was a devoted wife to him until his death in 2001.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter, Betty (L.C.) Stanley; four loving and devoted grandchildren, William (Elizabeth) Blash, Tonya Blash, Corrie (Centralia) Blash, and Tameka (Willie) Coneway; one brother-in-law, Buddy (the late Eddie Mae) Hall; one sister-in-law, Nellie Mae (Willie) Stuckey; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Stanley will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends at 1547 Byrd Hill Road, Montrose.
