Funeral services for Ms. Mary Lou Vickers, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at 11 AM at the Howard Chapel United Methodist Church, 508 South Washington Street in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Patricia Brown will officiate.

Ms. Vickers, who passed on November 29, was born on November 12, 1919, to the late Isaac and Katie Mae Davis in Dublin, Georgia.

She was a member of Howard Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked many years doing domestic work and cooking for her family and others.

Ms. Vickers was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Vickers; four sons, Lonnie Vickers, Andre' Vickers, Charlie Vickers and Hosie Vickers; and a daughter, Geraldine Vickers; and two sisters, Mae Lizzie Dent and Rosa Lee Whitehead.

Ms. Vickers leaves loving memories to two daughters, Hazel Vickers (Charlie) Knight, Mamie (Horace) Williams; son, Michael Vickers, all of Dublin; daughter-in-law, Delois Vickers of Orlando, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Arthur (Jackie) Robinson, Connie (Pam) Vickers, Lewis (Betty) Lattimore, Tracy Lattimore, Sherunda (Craig) Dixion, Amy (Kenneth) Charles, Charlie (Lisa) Knight, Sherrie Jackson, Sierra, Jessica and Nicholas (Kimberly) Vickers, Kimberly Vickers and Eddie Vickers; and a host of great grand children, great great grandchildren; sister, Eula Lee Bell of Belle Glade, Florida; brother, T.C. Bell of Tifton and a beloved nephew, Rev. Joseph Bell of Valdosta and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Hazel Vickers, 703 North Franklin Street in Dublin.
