Funeral services for Ms. Lillie R. Coady, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 1 PM at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Reverend David G. Flowers will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Coady, who passed on June 22, 2017, was born on August 23, 1942, to the late Leo and Bertha Horne Norris. She attended schools in Johnson County and was a retired domestic worker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Coady; son, William Coady; maternal grandparents, Hubert and Mozella Horne; paternal grandparents, Frank and Deanna Norris; stepmother, Mary Lizzie Norris; brother, John Norris; sister, Betty Jean Norris; and by a great grandson, Raekwon Coady.

Ms. Coady is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Sylvester) Plummer, Carlene (Alphonso) Myricks, Beverly Coady; son, Rodney Coady all of Dublin; sisters, Eppie D. Norris, Annie Q. Wright, Willie R. Woods, Lillie A. Davis, Zeldine Ray all of Dublin, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Shirley (Sylvester) Plummer, 867 Little John Road in Dublin.
