Funeral services for Mr. Lenell Edmond of Miami, Florida, will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 2 PM at the Wabash Church of God, 500 Telfair Street in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Pearson Cemetery. Bishop Harrison Jones will officiate.

Mr. Edmond, who passed on June 16, 2014, was born on April 1, 1957, to the late Arthur "C-Bud" and Marie Edmond. He completed school at West Laurens High School and later moved his family to Miami, Florida. He received Christ at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Rentz, Georgia, and later joined and became a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida, where he remained a member until his passing.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Willie "Pete" Edmond, Rudolph Edmond, and Larry Gene Edmond.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Johnson Edmond; children, Kenya Johnson, Lawanda Johnson, Deon Edmond, Jaworski Edmond, and Sabrina Edmond, nine grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers, Betty (J.C.) Murray, Brenda (Tony) Hester, Russell (Pat) Edmond of Dublin, Arthur "Robert" Edmond of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nell (Betty Jo) Isaac of Lakeland, Florida; and loving in-laws including Bernice Edmond of Miami, Florida, and nieces, nephews and a host of long time friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Brenda (Tony) Hester, 626 Pine Cone Road in Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home Friday from 7:30 -8:30 pm.
