The life of a star, Kendriquez Taylor, began on April 10, 1990. He was the eldest born to Ms. Debra D. Lewis and Mr. Leroy Taylor. A well rounded student athlete, Mr. Taylor was a 2008 graduate of East Laurens High School. Because of his athletic ability and the love for the game, he received a basketball scholarship from Georgia Perimeter College, where he excelled in every area of the game and in the classroom majoring in business administration. He later transferred to Middle Georgia State College and continued to soar in basketball. Affectionately known as “Ken” and “Slinky”, he and his outstanding personality captivated the hearts of EVERYONE he came into contact with, but FIRST and FOREMOST for him was FAMILY! As an avid lover of basketball, he was often seen in his favorite attire, a basketball jersey with a matching fitted cap, along with the Jordan sneakers. His fondest moments included relaxing in front of the fireplace enjoying refrigerated Oreo cookies and milk. He was a SP Fiber Technology Company employee known for his dedication and his loyal work ethic. Mr. Taylor was spiritually covered under the leadership of Pastor E. Neal & Elect-Lady Dr. Terri Dixon and the Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church North. He passed away on December 11, 2014.
