Funeral services for Mr. John Prosser Jones, 51, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 1PM at Rice Hill Baptist Church, 2706 Moore Station Road. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Abraham Crockett will officiate. Mr. Jones, who passed on May 5, 2012, was born on July 8, 1960, in Laurens County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Lilton and Mrs. Wilie Mae Prosser Jones, and a brother. Mr. Jones graduated form West Laurens High School. He joined Rice Hill Baptist Church. He was employed by Evans Cabinet Company. Mr. Jones leaves to mourn his passing one son, Jonathan Jones of Montrose, one sister, Lester (Rayford) Wardlaw of Dublin, three brothers, Lilton Jones, Jr., Moses Jones, all of Dublin, and Julius (Mary) Jones of Macon, two aunts, Rubye Nell Clemons of Newark, New Jersey, Alice Pearl Jones of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Barbara James of Dublin, three uncles, Daniel Prosser, James Prosser and Cresses D. Prosser of Fort Wayne, Indiana, nieces, Patricia (Paul) Rozier, Michelle (Vernon) Hawkins, all of Atlanta, Amanda Jones, Trina Jones, Tina Jones, Danyell Jones all of Dublin, and Tomekica Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a host of cousins and friends.
