SHARON -- John W. Harris, 86, of 4540 W. McConnells Hwy. passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Bratton Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Lambert officiating. Burial will be at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home.
John was a son of the late Robert Harris and Sarah Bridges Harris. He was the widower of Shirley Harris. He was retired from General Motors and was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by son Terry Harris of Clarksville, TN, brothers, Perry Harris of York, SC, Robert Harris of York, SC, Steve Harris of Chester, SC, Jerry Harris of Sharon, SC, Leo Harris of Sharon, SC, two sisters, Grace Garrison of Chester, SC, and Joann Hager of Mooresville, NC, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
