Funeral services for Mr. James "Goop" Dixon, 51, of Macon, will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11 AM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Korie Baker will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Dixon, who passed away on May 21, 2012, was born on July 21, 1960, in Dublin, to the late Grady Dixon and Mother Cherry Darrisaw. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted friend, Charmane Grizwold, and a step-daughter Zoe Daniels of Macon, his mother, Cherry Darrisaw of Dublin, four brothers, Curtis (Lamona) Dixon of Dublin, Jack (Gloria) Dixon of Milledgeville, Jeffery (Dorothy) Dixon of Sandersville, and Kenneth (Barbara)Dixon of Dublin, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
