Funeral Services for Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" Reed Grimes, 54, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at 2:00 PM at the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, 3265 Hwy 19 South in Dublin. Bishop Harrison Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Grimes, who passed away on August 8, was born on April 6, 1958, in Dublin, Georgia. She was a graduate of West Laurens High School and was employed as a live-in caretaker. Mrs. Grimes outlived her son, Tyrus Vincent Reed, her parents Mr. Charlie and Mrs. Bessie Lee Hurst Reed, one sister, Willa Dean Reed Smith, maternal grandparents, Will and Lula Carroll Hurst, and paternal grandparents Green and Lula Prosser Reed. She is survived by her husband Willie Earl Grimes of Dublin; four sisters Christine Reed (Alvin) Smith of Sicklerville, NJ, Justine Reed (Earnest) Coney of Indianapolis, IN, Helen Reed Jones and Carmenletia (Lamar) Reed of Dublin; two brothers Charlie Reed, Jr. of Paterson, NJ and Jimmy (Catherine) Reed of Virginia Beach, VA, two grand-daughters Briana (Johnny) Montford and Tyra Reed of Dublin, one aunt Lou Will Hurst (James) Smith of Paterson, NJ; three brother-in-laws, Theodore Smith of Camden NJ, Curtis (Diane) Grimes and Naron (Patricia) Grimes of Dublin; three sister-in-laws, Justine (Eddie) Wright, Ann Williams of Dublin, and Linda (Clifford) Jordan of Chester; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
