Henry Dixon

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Lee Dixon, of Wrightsville, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Mitchell Grove Baptist Church, 78 Mitchell Grove Church Road in Wrightsville. Pastor Ricky Stanley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Dixon, who passed on May 9, 2016, was born on May 13, 1952 to Willie Kate Dixon and the late Willie Lee Dixon. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Mae Swint Valdez, Vanella Dixon; two brothers, Tommy Lee Dixon, Sr. and Johnny Lee Dixon.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his devoted wife of thirty-five years, Bonnie Ruth Dixon, Wrightsville; daughter, Lawonda D. Dixon, Wrightsville; sons, Kendrick L. (Kendra) Dixon, Wrightsvile, Henry Lee Brown, Augusta, Jeffery Gonder, Jermain T. Dixon, Sandersville; stepson, Davin (Delisha) Taylor, Wrightsville; mother, Willie Kate Dixon, Tennille; three sisters, Dorothy Darrisaw, Glory Irwin, Sandersville, Pearline Dixon, Tennille; two brothers, Ralph (Evangelist Geneva) Dixon, Harrison, Lonzie (Louise) Dixon, Atlanta; father and mother-in-law, Oliver and Marie Taylor, Wrightsville; sisters-in-law, Juanita Robinson, Janice Taylor, Wrightsville; brothers-in-law, Marion Taylor, Roy Lee Taylor, Wrightsville, Jerome (April) Taylor, Charranooga, Tennessee, Michael A. Taylor, Butner North Carolina; grandchildren, Kenard Greene, Aerial Taylor, Cheletha Greene, Kendira Dixon, Keniya Dixon, Zacharian Dixon, Vea Brown, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1137 Highway 319 North in East Dublin.
