Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Underwood, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home.
Grace Chappell was born on September 5, 1922, in Laurens County, Georgia, to the late Willie Chappell and Emily Horn. She was united in holy matrimony with Ira Underwood on May 29, 1943. She retired from Dublinair Nursing Home after 30 years of service.
Mrs Underwood departed this life on March 19, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Underwood, and by her three sons, Frankie Underwood, Jimmie Underwood, and Ira Underwood, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories a dedicated cousin, Hazel Vickers, grandchildren, Frankie Underwood, Brian Underwood, and Greg Washington, and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
