Freeman Cannon

Funeral services for Mr. Freeman "Big Bean" Cannon of Wrightsville, will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at 12 PM at the Sandhill Baptist Church, 1993 Gumlog Road, Wrightsville. Reverend Jerry Walden will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Freeman Cannon, Sr., was born on January 10, 1943, in Wrightsville, Georgia, to the late B. C. and Minnie Lee Cannon. He was a member of the Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by the Johnson County School System, and retired from the City of Wrightsville. His smile and sense of humor will be missed. Mr. Cannon passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Lawson, and Wilbur Cannon, Sr., a sister, Katie Mae Scott, and by a daughter, Teresa Cannon.

Mr. Cannon leaves to cherish his memories, five children, Delois (Phil) Dudley, Freeman Cannon, Jr., Kendrick L. Dunn, Sr., Joyce (Benjamin) Mincey, all of Wrightsville, Valerie Dunn (Annette) Coley, of Dublin, a stepson, Timothy Graddy of Wrightsville, four sisters, Eva M. Jackson of Canton, Ohio, Mary White, Minnie P. Cannon of East Dublin, Jerlean Strickland of Wrightsville, Patricia (Glen) Moses of Augusta, Georgia, three brothers, Earl Cannon, Ernest (Eva) Cannon of Sandersville, Leon Cannon of Canton, Ohio, eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 103 Young Street, Wrightsville.
