Funeral services for Mr. Forest "Hog Bear" Mitchell, Jr., of Wrightsville, will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 2 PM at the Community Missionary Baptist Church, 627 James Grove Church Road, Wrightsville. Reverend Dave Hall will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Tucker Grove Church Road, Wrightsville.

Forest Mitchell Jr, 57, was born on February 9, 1957 in Dublin, to late George Walker and Leatha Mae Robinson. He was affectionately known as "Hog Bear" to friends and loved ones. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Mr. Ernest Walker, Jr., Mr. Willie Lee Walker, Sr., and Mr. George Walker, Jr.

Forest leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Mrs. Jennie Mitchell, four daughters, Chala (Danny) Bennett of Hudson, NY, Yolanda Miller of Bartow, Kaleshia Mitchell, of Dublin, and Dominique (Robert) Moorman of Wrightsville, two sons, Maurice Cason and Caurice Cason of Wrightsville, and a step-daughter, Jacqueline Cason of Wrightsville, four sisters, Ms. Edna Mitchell, Ms. Lena Pearl Williams, of Wrightsville, Ms. Jackie Wright, Mrs. Essie Shine Coney of Dublin, four brothers, Jeffery (Juanita) Walker, Bobby Lee (Jaquelyne) Walker, Jessie (Viola) Walker, all of Dublin, Curt (Ollie) Cannon of Wrightsville, and a sister-in-law, Winnie Walker of Dublin, fifteen grandchildren, lifelong friends, Retired Sgt. Levi Daniels, Calvin Cuyler, Antonio Graddy, and Larry Hodges, and special thanks to his devoted niece and caregiver, Tonya Daniels, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family will be receiving friends at the family residence, 185 Tucker Grove Church Road, Wrightsville.
