Funeral Announcement - JONES, Ethel Mae Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Mae Jones, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, March 15, at 2:30 PM at the Byrd Hill Baptist Church, 2430 Old Hawkinsville Road in Dudley. Interment will follow in the Eason Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 2022 Eason Hill Church Road in Montrose. Reverend Warren Harris will officiate. Mrs. Jones, who passed on March 9, was born on April 10, 1938, to the late Husher and Louise Mack. She was educated in the Laurens County School System. She worked at the Bassett Furniture factory for many years. She was a member of the Byrd Hill Baptist Church where she attended as often as the good Lord would let her. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Jones; a daughter, Burnicetine Jones; and a grandson, Jeremy Jones. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Joseph (Virginia) Mack of Lagrange, Lynelle (Jimmy) Taylor, Willie Mae (Rufus) Sutton, Raymond Jones, James (Sharon) Jones, Leatha Coney, Ennis Jones and Patricia Jones, all of Dublin; two aunts, Frances English of Montrose and Jessie Blackshear of Jacksonvillle, Florida; seven sisters and brothers, Freddie (Christine) Mack, Mattie (Willie) Lawson of Montrose, Lurine Vaughn, Marian (Michael) Smith, and Kline Mack, all of Dublin, Husher (Emily) Mack and Marshall (Hazel) Mack of Virginia, five brothers and sisters-in-law, seventeen grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
