Funeral services for Mr. Dan Alonzo White, Jr., of Dublin, will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at the Byrd Hill Baptist Church, 2430 Old Hawkinsville Road in Dudley. Reverend Warren Harris will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Mr. White, who passed away on January 3, 2013, was born on December 11, 1928, in Dudley to the late Dan and Ethel White. He joined Byrd Hill Baptist Church at an early age, served in the United States Army, and was a loyal employee of J. P. Stevens & Company, Inc.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Corine Rozier White, and a brother, Emanuel White. He leaves to cherish his memories his sister, Florene Brown, a sister-in-law, Louise White, a brother-in-law, Levi (Juanita) Rozier, Jr., all of Dublin, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 702 Plummer Street and at 612 Marcus Street in Dublin.
