Funeral services for Mr. Damion Lashawn Wright of Atlanta, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 2 PM at the Dock Kemp Multiplex on Crawford Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Marque Harden will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cypress Grove Church Cemetery.
Mr. Wright, who passed away on March 27, 2014, was born on February 20,1988, to Ms. Sheryl Wright and Mr. Tony Davis. Many knew Mr. Wright as “Bo", but his mother affectionately called him "Hammer." Mr. Wright joined Saint Galilee Baptist Church of Wrightsville early in life. He graduated from Washington County High School in 2007. In 2009, He received his certification in accounting from Atlanta Technical College. He enjoyed writing and recording music and performing his songs. He also loved spending time with his friends and family, joking, laughing and having a good time. In 2013, he was married and became a father to a beautiful daughter. He was a loving husband, devoted father and a wonderful friend to many people. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Annie and Willie Wilcher, his grandmother, Lucy Davis, his uncles, Glenn Wilcher and Herman Wilcher, his great aunt, Shirley Darrisaw, and his nephew, Jacobe Dixon Jr.

He will forever be remembered by his wife, Mrs. Latoya Wright, and his daughter Dakota Wright of Atlanta, his parents, Ms. Sheryl Wright, Wrightsville, and Mr. Tony Davis, Dublin, sisters, Sakerial Wright, Wrightsville, and Renada Davis, Dublin, father figure, Hodges Wilcher, Wrightsville, grandmother, Earnestine (Charles) Jackson, West Palm Beach, Florida, aunts, Annie Graddy, Wrightsville, Berneda Darrisaw, Wrightsville, Barbara Davis, Wrightsville, Eula Mae (Louis) Johnson, Wrightsville, Retha (Sammie) Wright, Dublin, uncles, Andrew Jackson, West Palm Beach, Florida, and Clarence (Katrina) Jackson, Wrightsville, step-brothers, Tavares Davis, Dublin, and Reginald Brown, Wrightsville, nephews, Xavier Wright, Wrightsville, and Caleb Battle, Dublin, nieces, Destinee Dixon, Wrightsville, and Zahria Battle, Dublin, father and mother in-law Michael and Louise Gatling, Eagle River, Arkansas, sister in-law, Micah Gatling, Eagle River, Arkansa, god-sister, Stanique Stephens Dublin, special friends, ShaQuana Cordy, Daphne Johnson, Wayne Wright Jr., Colieus Lawson, and Steffani Warner, and many other friends and family who were blessed to have him as part of their lives.
