Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Lee Thomas, also known as "Mrs. Kee" and "Little Mama", of Wrightsville, will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 10 AM at the Community Missionary Baptist Church, 627 James Grove Church Road in Wrightsville. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Reverend Cecil Dunlap will officiate.

Mrs. Cora Thomas, who passed on September 27, 2014, was born September 11, 1916, to the late Ed and Florine Thompson in Johnson County. She was preceded in death by her children, Thomas Jefferon Thomas, Curley D. Thomas, Leretha Brown and Velma Outlaw.

She raised a nephew, Keywan, as if he was her own. She joined St. Galilee Baptist Church at an early age and later moved her membership to Community Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her children, Trudie M. (John) Brantley of Dublin, Eddie M. Thomas of Miami, Florida, Lula M. Butler of Miami, Florida, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 8 Flanders Street in Wrightsville.
