Brenda B. Bailes
YORK -- Brenda Catherine Brown Bailes, 71, of 1477 Garvin Road passed away Monday, November 18, 2013, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday November 21, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Keith Martin and Rev Mark Dellinger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Wednesday November 20, 2013, from 6-8 PM
Brenda was a daughter of the late David S. and Nettie Morrow Brown. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Brenda devoted her life to helping others. She was affectionatley known as maw-maw to many. Brenda was quick to open her heart and home to those around her, giving love and encourgement to all.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Martin (Keith) of Hickory Grove, SC, son, Claud Bailes of York, SC, brother, Charles R. Brown (Nan) of Orangeburg, SC, four grandchildren, Gabriel Martin, Jennifer Allen, Grace Martin and Crystal Bailes, and one great grandchild, Elizabeth Allen.
