Funeral services for Mrs. Angelia Y. "Angie" Cason Torrence, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018, at 11 AM at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin. Dr. C. L. Cason will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Torrence was born on November 2,1967, to the late Reverend Harvey Cason and Dr. Agnes S. Cason. She graduated from Dublin High and served as a corporal in the United States Army. She graduated from cosmetology school in 2015 and earned a certificate in Biblical Doctrine from the Cason Theological Institute in 2017, but was unable to walk with her class. She was a health care aid before she became disabled. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church and she later joined New Fleming Baptist Church. She passed away on February 15, 2018.

Ms. Torrence was preceded in death by one child, Miss Tieska Meare Torrence, grandparents, Deacon Robert Spikes, Sr, ANnie Mae Spikes-Stanley, Author Cason and Corine Cason, and father, Reverend Harvey Cason. She is survived by children, Savannah Torrence, Quincey Torrence, mother, Dr. Agnes Cason, sisters, Angel (Arzie) Gordon of Sparks, Nevada, Denise Counsel, Marie Cason, of Dublin, and Harvetta Cason of Americus, brothers, Harvey Cason, Jr., and Reverend C. L. Cason of Dublin, uncles and aunts, Robert (Annie) Spikes, The Stanley brothers and sisters, Bernita (Willie) Allen, and Betty Waters of Dublin, Annie R. Blash of Miami, Florida, Evelyn Cason, Melia Horne and Author (Annie) Cason of Sandersville, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1520 Academy Avenue in Dublin.
